"Caring for the homeless, one person at a time"

Our Vision

To follow in the footsteps of St. Francis by reaching out to our neighbors in need with compassion, respect and kindness to ease their burden, one valued person at a time.

Our Mission

Our mission at St. Francis Shelter is to bring homeless men together to live in community and, assisted by volunteers, to offer a variety of services to those in need in the local Tucson area.

Fr. Gregory Boyle, SJ Speaks at St. Francis Shelter

"We stand with the poor and the powerless and the voiceless…we stand with those whose dignity has been denied and those whose burdens are more than they can bear…we stand with the easily despised and the readily left out…we stand with the demonized and the disposable.”

- Fr. Gregory Boyle, SJ
